Friends

 

How inspiring it is to hear from friends who have read my book and have taken the time to call me and say.

I’ve known you all my like since youngsters and you never once complained about the life you lived or the beatings you suffered through.

You were always smiling and so kind to everyone.

I was once asked by an adult who knew my father,

“How is your father?”, as I started to answer, the lady said, “Why is it every time I ask you about your father your face drops?”, so I guess subconsciously, I didn‘t realize the pain I carried.  But it was a life time of pain and it seemed so normal just waiting for the next encounter.  But writing this book was very therapeutic and now I guess my face doesn’t drop anymore.
